Buty is dedicated to natural wine making practices. For them, this does not mean being hands-off. Though they applies gentle winemaking techniques such as minimal handling, and often use little-or-no-new oak, every choice made about fermentation, extraction, cooperage, blending, racking and aging is intended to help achieve a stylistic vision.
Recently, Charles Smith unveiled a new name for his international company and vast portfolio – Wines of Substance, which is defined as the quality of being important, valid and significant. Wines of Substance illustrates Charles’ philosophy of producing exceptional wines to be enjoyed by everyone around the globe.
