We'll be featuring TWO Washington powerhouses for this week's Winery Wednesday -- Abeja Winery & Pursued by Bear, both of Walla Walla and made by the same winemaker - Daniel Wampfler.
The first wines from Abeja Winery were released back in 2003.The focus of their production is Cabernet Sauvignon, as they believe it to be the iconic varietal of Washington State. Additionally, they produce small amounts of Merlot, Chardonnay, and estate grown Viognier and Syrah. All five varietals are limited in availability. Come by to see for yourself why we think their Chardonnay, Syrah and Estate Cabernet Sauvignon sets them apart.
"Pursued by Bear", started by actor and Yakima native Kyle MacLachlan, all started from the pursuit of making his own version of his favorite wines hailing from Eastern WA - Cabs and Syrahs that Kyle considers, "an alluring mix of Old World elegance and New World grandeur".
Join us for this week's Winery Wednesday to see what these wines are all about! Here's what we'll be pouring:
